What’s Happening in October?

Toddler Creative Ballet Class: Saturday, October 4. 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM.
For children ages 2-5, accompanied by an adult caregiver. In this Creative Ballet class led by Amanda DelPrete of Inspire Dance Academy, we will skip, gallop, and leap… stretch, crawl, wiggle and giggle while we use our creative minds to go on exciting adventures. The kids may wear anything they feel comfortable to move in. Please register in advance online or at the library. Space is limited to 16 participants.

Dale Freeman in Concert: Wednesday, October 8. 6:30-7:30 PM.
Come hear local musician, Dale Freeman with your family! No registration necessary.

Hands-on Art History: One Tuesday every month.
For children ages 7-9. Pique your child’s interest in art and art history in this fun workshop. We will have a short lesson about a different period featuring artists, fun facts, and of course images of famous works. Then we will experiment in a technique of the period in our own art project. Free Movie and Popcorn: Saturday, October 25. Showing at 3:00 PM
For families. Come watch the classic Roald Dahl tale of a little girl named Matilda with a mean family, a special teacher, and magic powers. Rated PG, running 102 minutes. Halloween Costume Parade and Spooky Story Time: Friday, October 31. 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
For ages 0-5, accompanied by an adult caregiver. Come dressed up in your costume, eat a few treats, and listen to some fun stories! No registration necessary.
